Sports provide great opportunities for children to develop positive character traits, like teamwork and responsibility. Further, studies have found that a coach ranks third behind children's parents and pastors as the most influential adults in their lives. All volunteer coaches are required to participate in the following to be an eligible coach:

• Attend IMPACT Coaches Training
• Pass a criminal background check
